There are 2 purge control valves. The rear valve is located in the rear wheel well (driver side) behind the wheel well panel. The front valve is located next to the ABS unit (driver side) in the engine compartment.

Hello - except for the Mercedes factory Service Manual/DVDs, the usual sources of quality aftermarket service manuals (i.e. Bentley) are bare on this one. Haynes/Chiltons don't yet cover anything this new either, certainly not for S-class models. Your best bet...
