David pre-purchase inspection was excellent and very detailed. He was on time and professional. Although I did not get to meet him the seller was quite please. I appreciate the way he contacted me and kept me updated throughout the process. His efforts made my decision easy to make the purchase. Great job.

Answers to common Mercedes-Benz 190E questions

Q: Driver's side windows do not properly function
Answered by Spencer
If removing the driver door window switch (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/power-window-switch-replacement) (or the driver-side console switch), and applying direct power to the harness yields successful operation of the window, the problem is the switch that was removed for the test. This can be...
Q: Car has been sitting and won't start
Answered by Jay
The car sitting for a year is most likely a dead battery. These cars are known to have loss of memory problems and the systems have to be reset with a factory scanner. I recommend you have a mechanic like...
Q: Mercedes Benz 190e car does not move when I step on the gas pedal a wire popped it's goes down all the way to the floor
Answered by John
You probably broke a throttle cable. It's just a short cable that goes from the accelerator to a complicated looking linkage on the intake manifold. This isn't a common failure so you may want to look hard at the linkage...
Q: Fuel gauge broken.
Answered by Mia
Your fuel gauge not working could be due to a problem with the sending unit (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-gauge-sender-replacement), wiring or the gauge itself. A trained professional, such as the ones YourMechanic, will be able to diagnose and repair your fuel gauge.

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Yourmechanic.com is a woman's prayered answered. My stress was zero. I didn't have to drop off the car and wait for an outrageous quote from the corner mechanic. I was able to schedule and know the price immediately. I will use yourmechanic.com from now on. If you are in the Las Vegas area. I recommend requesting Scott Franklin. He goes above and beyond customer service.

I have to say I am totally satisfied with the service performance and Bernard is quite professional offering details of the work which was completed. I will definitely utilize your service in the future and will recommend to family and friends.
