Terrell came on time, He did his job well. I was little skeptical to try Your Mechanic initially but I’m glad I gave it a try. I saved quite a few dollars by not going to local mechanic, not only money but my precious time. Things that can be improved: I wish Terrell got some kind of blanket to lay underneath the parts, when he removed the interior part of car door, when it came in contact with the driveway concrete I felt like there is a chance of it getting scratches and I wish the handling was more neat. Again I haven’t seen how it is done in outside mechanic garages, but I feel it is a good idea for him to carry some old blankets to protect the parts/Car from scratches. For small repairs like these I don’t mind going with Your Mechanic again.

Hi there. Usually when a grinding noise is occurring while only in reverse, it's an indication of an inner reverse gear failure. It's also common for a CV joint or inner axle shaft to make this type of noise when...
Engine Oil Consumption

Conventional, mineral-based engine oil and synthetic engine oils are completely miscible and thus you can top off with either. Your oil consumption is relatively high. There is a wide range of values for the "normal" or average rate of oil...
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe will go in reverse but won’t move in drive
Answered by Jeff
What you are describing is often a sign of low transmission fluid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-service) or a faulty transmission control solenoid. As you know, automatic transmissions use pressurized hydraulic fluid to change gears. Every time a gear change is required, the car's...
