Outstanding!!! Joseph came yesterday, and I've already recommended him to several people. I was a little nervous about trying a mobile service with somebody sight-unseen it, but I sure didn't need to be. It turned out to be a great experience – thanks mainly to the excellent ethics, training, and expertise of this very personable service technician. He arrived right at the agreed time, and was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. And the cost through MyMechanic turned out to be about 30% less than taking the car to a garage. And it was A LOT more convenient. Very impressive. It was a refreshing experience compared to the mediocre (sometimes dishonest) work that is so common today. I plan to take advantage of Joseph's skills, without hesitation. (And, yes, the new brakes on the Silver Bullet work great!) Thank you, Joseph!

Answers to common Mercedes-Benz 250S questions

Q: Car shuts off, will not start - 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SE
Answered by Robert
Hello. I would check for power at the fuel pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-replacement). It sounds like you have a voltage issue. Most of the time, this occurs when the fuse blows or when the fuel pump relay (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-relay-replacement) goes bad. These all...
Q: Low voltage radio error

Hi there. Check the battery cables (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-a-car-battery) for any corrosion. If there is corrosion, then clean the battery (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-clean-battery-terminal-connections-on-a-car) posts with baking soda and water mixed. Then check the voltage on the battery. If the voltage is 12.6 to 12.4,...
Q: Seat motor malfunctioning
Answered by Daniel
Repairing the seat may require disassembling the track to install it straight again; this is one of those things that you won’t find in a service manual. The best action would be have someone handy look at the seat, and...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Very impressed with the quality of work. Ned was on time and on budget. There were no surprise extra costs. Ned even helped me out with my other car, even though I didn't have an appointment for the other car. He took care of all of my car problems and he even found me a coupon for an oil change. I will be using this service again.

Jason is knowledgable, reliable and friendly person. He took his time to explain things about my car. I highly recommend YourMechanic and Jason's service.

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!
