James was willing to squeeze his schedule for me on early Thanksgiving morning to fix another root of the problem such as a damaged pulley with its bearings loose. He was very knowledgeable about cars and communicative when it came to normal conversation. He let me see what he was doing with the belt area and he was giving me automotive tips. I was satisfied he got the belt up and running without any problems at all. I recommend James to anyone else who doesn't want to pay for expensive service repairs at dealerships or automotive service repair chains.

Answers to common Chevrolet V10 Suburban questions

Q: Low oil pressure eventually will stall out. Is the oil pressure sensor connected to the fuel pump relay?
Answered by Jeff
Hello. Your oil pressure sensor should not be connected in any way to the fuel pump relay (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-relay-replacement). These are two separate and distinct functions. I would first recommend checking the oil level to be sure there is enough oil...
Q: Rough idle and stalling after coming off the highway.
Answered by Tim

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Yourmechanic.com is a woman's prayered answered. My stress was zero. I didn't have to drop off the car and wait for an outrageous quote from the corner mechanic. I was able to schedule and know the price immediately. I will use yourmechanic.com from now on. If you are in the Las Vegas area. I recommend requesting Scott Franklin. He goes above and beyond customer service.

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!
