Hi there. You are 100 percent correct about changing the location of the O2 sensor and it's negative impact on the ECU's ability to adjust on the fly to changing conditions. This is why I never recommend changing the location...
Cranks but does not start.

You will need to first see if the fuel pump is working and the engine has ignition spark to the spark plugs. You may have a bad fuel pump in the fuel tank or ignition problem with ignition module.
