He did a good job on replacing the parts and even replace some lights that had burned out. On the flush of the system he said he didn't have enough fluid to top off the system. The radiator fluid was still very dark and not the greenish color it should have been.

Q: Choose a carburetor for 454 Chevy engine
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. For the carburetor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/carburetor-replacement) swap out, you will need to have a least a CFM of 850 or 950 for a big block GM engine. If you are concerned about fuel consumption, then you could do a CFM...

I would recommend starting by checking the positive battery cables (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/battery-cable-replacement) looking for corrosion on the connectors and cables. Next, I would check the fuses (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuse-replacement) for power. Try checking one for...
Q: Truck died on road
Answered by Jay
You may have an intermittent problem with the fuel pump or the fuel pump is not pumping enough pressure. The other possible problem you have is excessive dirt and debris in the carburetor fuel inlet. This may have dislodged when...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!

Whitney was obvious exsperienced and knowlegeable of the problem. His actions was that of a true profesional
