Joe was early and was quick to get to work. It was pretty cold that day, so he even offered to keep his car on and allow me to sit and keep warm. Keep in mind that was his gasoline he was willing to spare for me, so I appreciate that. He ran all his diagnostics and we were done within the hour. Much appreciated.

SERVICE

Water Pump

AMOUNT PAID

$259.73
by Mark from Evergreen Park, IL 60805

I went back and forth with the car dealership trying to pinpoint the problem with my vehicle. After having to leave my car over night twice and paying for a car rental I stumbled upon "MY Mechanic" and figured "what have I got to lose?" After making an appointment and having one conversation with Alonzo, I felt immediately at ease because of his knowledge. Needless to say the appointment went flawlessly. The car has been driven 6 times since the work was completed and so far so good. I will definitely be contacting again and will tell friends and family......thanks

One of the best and easiest interactions with a mechanic I have had in a while.

Answers to common Buick questions in Chicago

My car cuts off when service park assist pops up. What can be causing this problem?
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. The parking assist works with sensors around the vehicle to view any obstacles on the road to prevent any accidents. If the parking assist is stalling your vehicle, then the sensors are either dirty or damaged. I recommend...
engine overcooling; engine fan always on!
Answered by Kevin
Hi Alex....yes, that sensor could be a possibility but there are other components in the circuit as well such as relays (that can stick on) and, although not as likely, there are possible wiring faults that can cause continuous power...
Brake pedal hit the floor. Very hard to stop car.
Answered by Jay
First thing is you do not have any brakes and should not attempt to drive the vehicle until the brakes are repaired. The brake pedal is going to the floor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brake-pedal-is-lower-than-usual-inspection) due to a major brake fluid leak from the...
The throttle position sensor has been replaced three times on a 2003 Buick lesabre. What is causing it to go bad?
Answered by Kevin
Within conventional throttle position sensors there are metal contacts that sweep across a printed resistor board. Repetitive motion and vehicle vibration can cause these contacts to wear, over time, eventually causing sensor malfunction. If you are sure that the TPS...
