I have the code p003225 Mechanic's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it? Audi Q7 2012 and the code is p003225 Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Q7 yourself? What have you tried so far? No husband’s Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? Yes

Hello, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be helping you with your question today. I've been working on Audis for over 30 years now, so I should be able to help you through this. Please understand that some of my suggestions may require special diagnostic tools and equipment that many home mechanics may not have, but are often required. So, my first question is whether you're planning on performing your own repairs, or are you wanting to be armed with information before bringing it into your mechanic? Couple of other questions as well: 1) can I get the VIN on the Q7 please? 2) what tool was used to scan? The reason I ask is that the code that you posted is non-standard 3) are there any adverse drivability symptoms? 4) how many miles are on it? **Also, the site automatically prompts for a phone call. It's very rare that I'm available by phone, so let's hold off on that for now. If needed after we exchange some information, I will do my best to take the time for the call.**

Yep got that now. Generic OBD2 scanner. Now, any chance you can post a pic of the fault code screen? I just need to verify that exact number, since the one you posted doesn't come up in any of my service information and I'm tied into Audi OE info.

Ok, sure enough. Let me work on this a bit more, but I have a feeling that a more robust scan tool, something Audi specific will be needed here.

Ok thank you
Automotive Expert
Also, I asked a bit ago, are there any adverse drivability symptoms, or does it seem to be running normally? Also, has charging system voltage been tested?

We do not have any other type of scanner and when driving it is heavy to drive as it is hard for you to get out, that's all

Ok, I've worn out my sources here. There is zero information out there on a P003225 on any car, and limited information for a P3225, but the results are spotty at best, \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* to BMW. I can certainly link you to a proper Audi specific scan tool that won't break the bank, and continue once we get some valid fault codes. Please let me know how you'd like me to proceed.

really if you can help us with the codeSorry, but how is it to link with a scanner?

I spend about $900/month for various service information subscriptions, and am factory trained on Audi, and have never seen this fault, and it doesn't come up in any search whether using my subscriptions, or even simple google search. One other thing you can try as a stopgap is to go to a parts store like Advance, Pep boys, Autozone, and get a scan from them. Or if your husband does all of the work on this car, then a proper scan tool is best for now and future diagnostics: [https://store.ross-tech.com/shop/vchv2\_ent/](https://store.ross-tech.com/shop/vchv2_ent/)

Thanks but I have another code P0325can you help me

Yep, that's a fault for knock sensor 1, which is on the left side bolted to the block, in the intake valley, which will require supercharger removal. Wait....right side (passenger)
