Q: Check Engine Light does not come on even though there are trouble codes present

I'm having a lot of performance issues with my Sable and there's no check engine light coming on but I've had the codes pulled and all kinds of different codes come up I figured out that it is the ECU and I was wondering how to find the wire that goes to the check engine light

My car has 143000 miles.
