Almost a year ago, David told me my radiator was rusting and that it would need a flush and replacing soon. I never got it replaced or flushed and believe it or not my car starting breaking down and overheating for several months while I was away for school. I wasn't able to use it at all. I finally got my radiator replaced along with the hoses and now my car is working fine and it is not overheating anymore! Thanks David!

Q: Car cranks won't turn over, fuel pump not turning on but was remove and tested it has power and is working. Fuses good relay good.
Answered by Ronny
There can be a sensor or electronic control unit (ecu) issue. If for example, the crankshaft sensor is faulty, the ecu may not see engine revolution when you're cranking. If either due to a faulty crank sensor, or ecu, the...
Q: Is it a sure fix

The engine has aluminum heads and they may be warped or cracked from the overheating. Also, the water and oil mixed, and you drove it like this until it shut off. This may have damaged the crankshaft bearing and rod...
Q: Just changed thermostat now my car is running hot worse than before, I think I need to check if the new one is opening up?
Answered by Jeff
Overheating can be caused by a number of things such as low coolant levels, a faulty thermostat (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/thermostat-replacement), a clogged radiator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/radiator-replacement) or a failing coolant fan switch. As you may know the coolant fan switch (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/cooling-fan-relay-replacement) helps to maintain...
Q: Grinding sound coming from car
Answered by Blake
Hello! A grinding noise on your particular vehicle usually indicates an issue with one of the wheel bearings. Unfortunately, the wheel bearings on the 1999-2008 GM vehicles consistently wear internally and cause noise. Usually in about 30,000 mile intervals, those...

A++ Highly recommended! Bryce was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He explained to me in detail exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced. I will definitely be booking Bryce for my next appointment.

Very impressed with the quality of work. Ned was on time and on budget. There were no surprise extra costs. Ned even helped me out with my other car, even though I didn't have an appointment for the other car. He took care of all of my car problems and he even found me a coupon for an oil change. I will be using this service again.

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!
