Pontiac Firebird - Tune-up - Humble, Texas
I was very happy to see Breck. He worked on my truck and did an excellent job, so I was very confident that he would take care of me again. Breck arrived early which was actually great. We did a little catching up, and then he was strictly business--he went over all the services and fees, and wasted no time in getting right to work. He made me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. He was fast, efficient, and made sure the issues were checked and double checked before letting me know my "baby" was ready to go. He recommended other services that I would need to make sure the vehicle would continue running smoothly. I value his knowledge and the interest he took in making the suggestions for my vehicle. Once again I was very pleased with the results. I would recommend him to anyone to have their vehicle serviced, because he gets the job done & done right!

Answers to common Pontiac Firebird questions

A high pitched noise when turning right.
Answered by Jay
The front end has many moving parts and if you are only hearing the noise when turning to the right and not to the left then the problem is either in the steering gear or the right side suspension is...
Knocking sound when turning. Possibly suspension.
It could be a tie rod end that is worn out. A technician could tell you exactly where the problem is coming from if you schedule an inspection of the clicking noise when you turn (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/loud-clicking-noise-when-i-turn-the-car-inspection).
The car cranks a lot, turns off while idling, gas smell in the car
Answered by Jay
You need to have the fuel injection checked to see if the system has a fuel injection leak or a pressure regulator leaking. The fuel system, including the filter and pump lines, needs checking to see why you are smelling...
My fuel pump won't turn on. On my 95 Pontiac firebird
Answered by Jeff
Hi There, I would suggest checking the ground connections and wiring to be sure there is proper connectivity. This is something that is very easy to overlook and can cause problems with getting the fuel pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-replacement) to come on...
