I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. Without knowing all of the information like the vehicle history, the components that have been tested or replaced, and the results of any tests that need to be run, I can only give you a general answer to your question. The issue your experiencing with the smoke inside the vehicle can be caused by the valve covers leaking onto the hot exhaust manifolds. This was a common issue to where the valve cover gaskets have to be replaced. I recommend having this inspected further to see if the gaskets require replacement. As for the engine stalling out when placed in gear, this is usually caused by carbon build up inside the throttle body needing to be cleaned out or an issue with the transmission torque converter stuck on or the torque converter clutch solenoid shorting out needing to be replaced. All of these need to be checked into further to identify the issue so it can be repaired properly.
