It didn’t it was really rough but sounds better since changed the spark plugs but still won’t catch. But prior to it was running great an just diedAlso when I turn my switch I can hear the fuel pump in the rear whining so I assume it’s working

ok is the rpm needle moving at all when you are cranking the engine?

I don’t have one on this car

access the throttle body. get a can of starting fluid and hold open the throttle plate and spray it in there and have someone try to start the engine.

Ok starter spray didn’t work tested the fuel pressure it showed 40 an there fuel is the rail so what next I have another fuel filter but would it be clogged if the pressure is hoodGood

if the pressure is good, it wont be clogged please check for spark

The timing chain cause I don’t have belt

exactly if the timing has jumped, air will blow out of the throttle body. it should ALWAYS suck in.

What’s the easiest way to check the timingWhen we changed the fuel filter the fuel test port fuel comes out a lot more now

ok. that doesnt matter. if air is blowing out of the throttle body when cranking, it will never start. you need to put the engine at #1 TDC of the compression stroke and check the timing marks
