Q: Location of ignition relay on a Ford Taurus 2002

asked by on July 31, 2016

Whenever I turn on ignition switch with key no lights on dash no power.

My car has 193435 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The starter relay should be located at #23 in your power distribution box. Be sure to verify this with your owner’s manual. If that relay is good, you may have an ignition switch issue. Symptoms of either can be similar - no dash lights, radio, etc.

Consider enlisting a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, to help pinpoint the issue with your electrical components. Good luck.
