Q: I have an RV with 2 batteries 12V sequenced together.

asked by on

The batteries are sequenced together with one being auxiliary power when a button is pressed from the driver's seat. Can I have a battery charger on one battery and jumper cables connected to the other while I start the RV?

Hi, thanks for writing in. You would not recommend trying to jump start the car using a battery charger unless the charger has a boost function. A battery charger should be used to charge the batteries first and then disconnect it while you crank the RV.
