Q: harm of replacing fuel filter

Will replacing fuel filter cause any harm to a car that is over 100K miles but never had the fuel filter replaced? Will it cause the fuel pressure to go higher?
My car has an automatic transmission.

The fuel filter replacement will never be a bad thing. A clogged filter is worse.
