My fan and fan belt are making a sound.

It is possible that your belt may be worn out. There is also a possibility that one of the pulleys that are driven by the belt may have a bad bearing. A worn out belt or a bad bearing in a pulley can cause a noise with your fan belt. I would ask for help from a mechanic to check over your belt driven accessories to see if there are any problems that need to be addressed.
