GM has issued a Technical Service Bulletin that states the injectors can be cleaned with the use of a detergent fuel additive. These detergent fuel additives should be used when the vehicle exhibits loss of power, diminished performance, frequent stalls, or no starts, or when a noted decrease in fuel economy is observed. GM recommends the ACDelco fuel additive to clean the injectors. This is GM part number: 88865595. It sells for around $16. If the cleaner does not solve the issue, then unfortunately, replacement may be necessary.
