Did you check all the fuses in the fuse boxes if any blew while trying to troubleshoot the parking light ? The security system will trigger, if it is not recognizing the key or battery went below 10 volts or a fuse blew while you were wroking on it , unless you have a failed component in the secuity system not related to what you were doing ,like door switche, hood, trunk, receiver module , rf signal from key ect we have a lot parts involved Have you tried resetting it ? are the key fob still working your power locks ? Master Reset 1-Disconnect Both Battery Cables ,Positive & Negative . 2- Touch Cables With Each Other For 60 Secs ( this will take any residual power in the Harness to Reset the Vehicle Modules ) 3- Wait 30 min 4- Close all doors and trunk 5- Reconnect Battery Positive First 6- Use The Key in The Driver Side Door Lock Cylinder to Lock it & Unlock,IF You have only a Key Fob ,use it to lock and unlock 7- Enter vehicle and Start it . **Please Let Me Know** **Thank You** **Chad Farhat** **ASE Certified Technician**

lets Try it the way I sent you if you have a voltmeter make sure the main battery reads 12 volts first, open and close all doors and hood, and trunk in case a switch is stuck open let me know
