Ok, I am confused. You initially state that the BRAKE light is not working, but then mention you replaced the right side low beam HEADLAMP and it did not fix, which makes sense as a headlamp has nothing to do with a rear brake lamp not working Can you clarify some

I apologize, I mentioned both lights because i was asked if there was anything else I want to let you know, so I included that. But first yes I’d like to focus on the brake light. I don’t know why it’s not working

HI Ok, with only 1 brake light out, the eliminates both the brake light switch and fuse as both supply all 3 brake lights - left, right, center mounted. So, either the lamp socket is faulty or a short in the white with black striped wire that runs to the brake lamp. It would be between where it splits off from the white/black wire at the left brake lamp and the right brake lamp connector.

The price of unplugging the EGR passage
It depends on the car and what you need to do. I’ve got a video “unplug the EGR low-flow with a speedometer cable (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_eSvvuQm1E)” and a lot of times they work pretty well. You unbolt the EGR valve and then...
Squeaky noise coming from the passenger side of my car
If you had the compliance bushings replaced, you most likely have bad lower ball joints (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-ball-joint-rear) or a problem with the rear bushings on the control arm. Have the joints checked by holding your hand on them while someone bounces...

You need to look at the oil pressure sending unit just above the oil filter to see if it got damaged when changing the oil filter. If it is the sending unit, then replace it since the fuel pressure will...
Loud chatter at idle only
Hello, thanks for writing in. If the flexplate was changed within the last year, then I would usually start by isolating that area of the noise. This noise can occur if the bolts are coming loose. If they are fine...
My heater/air conditioner blows out hot and cold air appropriately, but makes a horrible grinding noise
This is a sign of a faulty blower motor. As you know, these have electric motors in them that wear out over time and will begin to make squeaking or grinding noises as the bearings begin to wear out. The...
Oil change
Oil and filter change intervals are specified by vehicle manufacturers, not mechanics, in carefully considered and prepared "maintenance schedules". Mechanics do not have the necessary field test data, or laboratory data, to wisely specify oil change intervals other than what...
When accelerating my steering wheel shimmers, like a slight wobble only while accelerating
Failure of the outer CV joints would more likely cause audible clicking or clunking on turns and not vibration. And, if the rubber boots are intact on the driveshafts (especially on the outer CV joints), it is not likely there...
My 2005.1 Audi S4 Avant starts when the engine is cold just fine, however when it's warmed up it won't start. Cranks won't catch
Hi there. When a car is hard to start when it is warmed up or hot, it's typically due to a fuel system issue; ranging from a mass air flow sensor that is faulty, clogged fuel injectors or a throttle...
Catalytic converter
I would first check with another exhaust shop to get a second opinion. Sometimes the metal used or the flex pipe location will not allow a new pipe to be welded in.
