He was 3.5 hours late for our apt, but he was very professional and checked in by calling to let me know there was traffic and other issues that prevented him from getting to us at the scheduled time. Which I completely understood and ok with. Better that than him cancel like out first apt. He was professional and knowledgeable.

In addition to doing the job which I had requested, Gary took the time to explain certain features about my car that I didn't know about which helped me understand how to better maintain my car in the future. I will request him the next time I need work done if he's available.

Battery and starter problems, car won't start even after replacing battery and starter.
Answered by Andrew
I would check the fuses for the starter relay. You may have a blown fuse for the starter. I would have YourMechanic come and diagnose the starting problem further (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-not-starting-inspection).
Can only shift gears while car is off.
