I was very pleased with Clifton, his manner and professionalism. He replaced my fuel sensor and everything is working well. He also showed concern for other questions I had regarding my 2001 Buick. My fan motor was making a roaring noise and I was thinking of replacing my fan motor. He found that the cabin air filter and cover were missing and leaves and debris had entered the intake air opening under the hood. After using my shop vac to remove the air obstruction everything worked like new. This is my first experience with Yourmechanic.com and it definitely will not be my last and I am passing my message of upmost satisfaction on to my family and friends.

Answers to common GMC V1500 questions

Q: I alway have o jmp my truck after four days, I bought a new battery and after a few month it starte doing the ame hin again, what
Answered by Kevin
If the battery is new and charging system output has been measured and is within Factory Service Manual specifications, the only reason a battery will discharge is if the car sits for a long period of time (batteries self-discharge, but...
Q: Will Not Go In Park.
Answered by Jay
It sounds like you may have broke the shift mechanism trying to get it out of park. Since it's now broken it won't engage anymore. I'd suggest have the system checked (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-not-shifting-into-park-inspection) by a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic,...
Q: i have a 2005 gmc c5500 the heater motor comes on for 20 sec when first start truck then nothing

Hello - I suspect this may be a problem with the fan motor resistor pack. If the fan control is put in the "Max" or "High" speed position, does the fan continue to run? Does the fan only run for...
Q: Possible 4wd issue
Answered by Andrew
I would recommend checking in your owner's manual to see how the four wheel drive is recommended to be engaged. It is possible that the RPM of the engine was too high for the front axle to engage at the...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

A++ Highly recommended! Bryce was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He explained to me in detail exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced. I will definitely be booking Bryce for my next appointment.

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with the quality of work. Ned was on time and on budget. There were no surprise extra costs. Ned even helped me out with my other car, even though I didn't have an appointment for the other car. He took care of all of my car problems and he even found me a coupon for an oil change. I will be using this service again.
