Answers to common GMC Suburban questions

Q: Driver is told that his SUV's safety equipment is unreliable
Answered by Robert
Hello. It is true that these systems should not be relied upon as your primary function of safety. They are not always 100% accurate and may not work as well as being vigilant (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-be-a-good-defensive-driver-by-brady-klopfer) on our own. These are simply...
Q: Turn signals do not work correctly - 2004 Chevrolet Suburban
Answered by James
This could be an issue with the turn signal/flasher module located in the left I/P fuse box. The output of this assembly should be checked. Also the rear turn signals are hooked up in a rear junction block that also...

I recommend cleaning the throttle body (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/clean-throttle-body). TAC (throttle actuator control) or drive-by-wire throttles are very sensitive to dirty throttle bodies....

As you know, automatic transmissions use pressurized hydraulic fluid to change gears. Every time a gear change is required, the car's computer...

Tim was great; offered advice instead of just blindly fixing. Also Tim was super friendly and very genuine. Highly recommend!

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.
