Robert replaced my PCV valve and blower motor relay, plus found and fixed a broken windshield wiper hose, actually went to O"Reilly's to get a missing part, and accomplished all this in under an hour. I am certainly happy with the results. It helps to have a master mechanic to work on your car!

Answers to common Ford LTD II questions

Q: Window lock issues
Answered by Blake
Hello. I suspect that you have a faulty window motor. Your window motor can be checked by testing for power to the window motor when the switch is pressed. If the power is being delivered to the window but the...
Q: What tips should be followed regarding seating?
Answered by YourMechanic
While you probably don’t think much about it, seating in your car should be done in the right way. The wrong position or the wrong loading for cargo can greatly compromise your safety and security on the road. Here are...
Q: Engine starts up on cold start, shakes/struggles, and then shuts off.
Answered by David
Hello. I'm not sure what is meant by saying the O2 sensor and catalytic converter problem codes were not the problem. Several component issues could cause the behavior you are seeing - from a dirty, clogged, or failing idle air...
Q: Cooling fans not turning on, resistor looks rusty, connection not burnt, could it be relay or resistor
Answered by Jeff

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Stephen was very professional and spoke to me in terms that I understood. Although the news about the car was not great, he explained the why's and what it would take to fix it. I will call on him again. Many thanks!

Ben was great. He arrived early, completed the work quickly & cleanly, and was quite amiable. I didn't have to leave my home and got the maintenance completely with ease - 5 stars.
