Robert replaced my PCV valve and blower motor relay, plus found and fixed a broken windshield wiper hose, actually went to O"Reilly's to get a missing part, and accomplished all this in under an hour. I am certainly happy with the results. It helps to have a master mechanic to work on your car!

Answers to common Ford F-250 questions

Q: Testing the frequency of my MAP Sensor, it appears to adjust to pressure, but is not in range.
Answered by Jay
If you are getting a reading of 89HZ out of the MAP sensor with the key on then this is an indication that you are above 15,000 feet in elevation. This would cause the computer to run your vehicle with...
Q: Broken steering wheel
Answered by Blake
The issues you describe is a common fault with older ford trucks. It is most commonly caused by faulty bearings inside of the steering wheel column. To inspect the bearings, a technician will need to remove the steering wheel. I...
Q: Truck stalling 1991 Ford F250
Answered by David
Hi there - I suspect you're correct as to this being a fuel system issue (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-causes-fuel-injectors-to-get-clogged-or-dirty). I would flush the tank, replace the fuel filter, fill with fresh fuel, then cycle the fuel pump before attempting to start the engine....
Q: Truck won't start & repair shop says battery is ok
Answered by Jay
If the battery goes dead after 5 minutes of running the radio, then it is a weak battery (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-a-car-battery). A full battery test and charging system test needs to be done with a proper system tester. You most likely have...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.

Milton was great! Called to let me know when he'd be arriving. Very friendly & very thorough with his explanations. Took his time to make sure, double, triple check that everything was running properly. Very pleasant experience!
