Q: Who knows why the tires are different sizes

asked by on

Why are the front wheels bigger than the rear wheel

My car has 1500 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Without knowing the model vehicle, it’s hard to say. The only thing that I can add is in my 30+ years of working on cars, I’ve never seen a vehicle equipped with larger wheels/tires on the front. Having larger wheels/tires on the rear however, is not uncommon. Many performance cars (Corvette, Camaro, BMW,etc) have ;larger rear wheels/tires for performance and handling. Check the owner’s manual or with your Chevy dealer as to the correct tire/wheel fitment.
