I have a 16 mustang gt with a manual 6 speed transmission. Recently, my clutch went out at 17,000 miles so I towed it to the local Ford dealership. I do play around in the car quite a bit, but I feel like it failed much earlier than it should of. Either way, I just took the blame and ordered a new clutch. I asked the dealership if I could order a higher quality clutch that I see many other mustang drivers using, and they said that's fine. Ordered a McLeod RST twin disc clutch with a steel flywheel, and had it shipped to them. When I finally go to get my car back, they act all shady and tell me that the "synchronizer forks" were bent and must have been damaged when my clutch went out. He also messed up a few other things while working, so I feel like he didn't know what he was doing. Could he have put it together wrong to cause that problem?
