Q: Shifting issue

asked by on November 24, 2017

My shifts from gears 1-2 then 2-3 are usually harsh but it's also a random problem sometimes they're very smooth other times not so much. and sometimes if 1-2 is hard then 2-3 will be smooth and if 1-2 is smooth 2-3 will be hard. I've serviced the transmission when the issue appeared. Changed both filter and fluid with official ford FNR5 fluid (I have the FNR5 transmission) and nothing so far has really helped. replacing my worn motor mounts helped a bit. I'm out of warranty and wondering what to do next? Solenoids? thanks. There are no warning lights or stored codes

My car has 62500 miles.
