I have a 2001pontiac gran prix, with 162,406 miles, on it. I had re built, transmission installed, 3 weeks ago. Had some rotors, brake pads all around, on it. It has a tendency to drag, sometimes after reaching operating temperature. I believe it's the radiator because none of the hoses, are leaking any antifreeze. Going to install a [water pump](/topics-water-pump-pontiac/), and radiator, because I have install a new compressor, anyway.

Dragging, was the term I was wondering about if that makes sense

It does, I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, also. The compressor, I'm replacing because the bearing, is bad. It makes a whining sound, when running, thought it going to lock up.

Still missing it. I am looking for clarification on the term dragging. Do the brakes lock up, is the car locking power?

No, it's like it's losing power, after going to 50 mph. After going about 10 miles, it starts, slowing downLacking power

I certainly will, I'm waiting for air conditioning compressor, to arrive, I just change everything, then.Spark plug, I haven't changed yet. Thanks for you time!

Jefferyg31, the car is doing great, it was the radiator and ignition key. It was clogged up, with slime and goop, and the key didn't have chip, in it. Only thing left is the spark plugs, to install.
