Q: No power steering after a new pump 1 or 2 months ago
I have no power steering after about 2 months of running a new pump. We had bad snow and I pushed my truck to its limits trying to climb a bill where it stalled a few times and wouldn't start so now that I'm able to drive again I have no power steering. I just replaced the pump a few months ago, full of fluid and the fluid is discolored now. Going in reverse seems alright but turning is a no go. The drive belt needs replaced but the whining stopped and it's tight and the alternator is working so I assume that the power steering should as well. I could be wrong. I hope you guys can help thanks.
