Q: Lean fuel problem

asked by on October 24, 2017

My Audi engine starts and stalls immediately after sitting for a little bit. I have seen a code for lean fuel and bad knock sensor, and it’s straight piped. The battery is new and I have a new air box filter. Why would it die at first and start up a second time? The shop said there is no vacuum leaks, could it be a fuel pump?

My car has 145000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
