For overheating problems, the thermostat may have stuck closed, but might check for head gasket issues too, or plugged radiator. Depending on the mileage, a flush might be recommended, but if engine overheats immediately, would check for thermostat failure, or head gasket issues. Attaching thermostat replacement and cooling system filling procedures to the message to help with repair, may need to be on PC platform to view attachments. If new thermostat doesn't resolve the overheating issue, look for plugged radiator as well as failed water pump. If youre not seeing coolant circulating through the system, will need to replace the water pump. If seeing excessive air bubbles in the coolant reservoir when engine is running, let's check into head gasket issues. Lemme know what youre seeing, or if any questions come up while checking things out!
