Q: How to remove the manifold bracket on a 2000 Miata?
I have been trying to remove the alternator and there is this metal piece in the way of the bottom pivot bolt. I was told this is the manifold bracket. How do I get this off so that I can take the alternator off and replace it? I have looked all over and I can't see how to remove it. It looks to be wielded to the engine.
