Good morning
There is a governor on the driver's side of the transmission that regulates shifting. It is a common failure as the plastic gear on the end of the governor dishes and does not spin enough to to change the throttle pressure.
I attached the procedure and a picture for you.

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove [governor](https://my.alldata.com/repair/#/repair/vehicle/20891/component/1992/filter/) cover from [case](https://my.alldata.com/repair/#/repair/vehicle/20891/component/2314/filter/) using extreme care not to damage cover. If cover is damaged, it must be replaced.
3. Remove governor.
4. Reverse procedure to install and check fluid level.
