I will try to help you on this here Please ignore call request not needed here What is the [mileage](/topics-mileage-ford/) on it now? if the battery is good and checked for holding 12 volts and the engine is not locked up, then that leaves a weak [starter](/topics-starter-ford/) if it will not crank it over but not all the way, and after so many tries, it will smell fuel, since fuel been injected but not crank over quick enough o create enough compression and burn that fuel is it the original starter from 2003? **Please Let Me Know** **Thank You** **Chad Farhat** **ASE Certified Technician**

Oh ok!!!! I'm not sure what year the starter is. I bought the vehicle 2 years ago and never checked.Not sure but thank you so much! At least I have some kind of information!!!! Thank you very much again!!!
