Q: Changing fuel filter issue

My 2000 Chevy Blazer fuel filter I'm changing it got the old one out new one in but it just doesn't seem to reach the back screw And I'm unsure how to push it further it doesn't seem to want to budge far enough to screw in any advice

My car has 150200 miles.
