2007 GMC Acadia SLT (181,000) Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Acadia yourself? What have you tried so far? I am having issues with all the sensors, poor MPG, Stabilitrak, Traction control disables after driving. Jerks during acceleration. Mechanic's Assistant: Which particular sensor are you asking about? And have any trouble codes been triggered? Multiple sensors. The message screen alerts me of issues, but there is not check engine light. Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? I would need to answer specific questions, to fill in detailed information of the issues.

Morning sorry bought your GMC. We are going to need some codes for this one, are you able to access PCM and ABS systems?

I do not have the tools to be able to read codes at this time. There is no check engine light, but I can take it by the certified dealership to check the history and current codes today.

I will see if there is a fuse that u can remove to disable ABS/TRAC to see if some of your issues go away All the lights will still be on though.

okay, sounds good.

In the underhood fuse box there are 2 ABS MTR fuses that can be removed 1 a 25 amp and the other a 40amp. With these removed you will have normal braking, NO ABS or TRac so if you lock up the brakes they will lock if you spin tires they will spin. Now that being said I have seen GM's do weird things even though abs and trac are disabled for some stupid reason in some cases it still monitors wheel spin and will cut engine cylinders for power drop.......dont ask me why but have seen it so i will mention it most cars wont when there is a conflict with another needed system. As far as mileage goes if the check engine light is also on may contribute, Try to stop by somewhere and have the codes pulled if possible, way to expensive to guess with cars these days.
