Dellanos arrived early and was very professional. I was very pleased with the service. It was nighttime and about 15 degrees but that did not slow him down AND he finished early

by Conor from Washington, DC 20001

Dellano was awesome! I originally asked to have my oil changed and front brake pads replaced, and once he saw the condition they and the rotors were in, he checked the rear brakes and replaced them all, along with the front rotors, which was a lot more than what I originally requested. Dellano is very friendly, professional, and fast too! The estimated time the quote gave me was 2 1/2 hours, and even with the extra work that was needed, he finished everything in well under that amount of time. Using this site and having Dellano come to my apartment was much faster and friendlier than having to go to an actual shop!

Water Pump

by Tim from Washington, DC 20016

Charles was great. He arrived on schedule and discussed the situation intelligently. He had the necessary tools and parts. When he tested his repair and found it was not perfect (new gasket leaking, not unusual for a facing that has not been touched in 185,000 miles) he checked to be sure I did not need the truck right away and said he would be back to make it perfect. He returned when he said he would, re-did that aspect of the repair, and could not have been nicer about it. A very professional conscientious guy.

Charles was prompt, professional, and finished the work in a timely fashion. Definitely left a good impression on me of YourMechanic overall.

Jerome was a very personable and knowledgeable mechanic. I enjoyed his ability to talk me through his process as he was doing the work. He showed up on time and handled business accordingly. I also had questions on some other slight issues I was noticing and he gave me advice on how to get it fixed and told me what was necessary to get done sooner than later. Great conversation, fast and focused work. Overall, great first experience using this service. I will definitely use this again and be sure to request Jerome for all services

Answers to common Dodge questions

Q: Headlights go out randomly, will come back on after
Answered by Derek
As silly as it sounds, the issue is most likely caused by an intermittent failure in your Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). Of course it’s important to have the circuit and connections checked, but the TIPM is the most common...
Q: Tie rod broke, scared to drive truck now
Answered by Derek
The failure was most likely caused by water intrusion. Dodge has released customer satisfaction letter L04 that outlines the issue that you have experienced. The letter states that vehicles shipped to cold weather climates allow water ingression; thus causing wear...
Q: Heater stopped working, where’s the problem?
Answered by Derek
The best solution for this issue is to replace your Heater, Vent and A/C (HVAC) housing. A little explanation is needed here. Inside that housing are several doors that direct airflow, either through the heater core or evaporator, as well...
Q: Truck stalls out when driving
Answered by Derek
Stalling issues can be not only dangerous but nerve racking, as they can be often hard to predict. There are many possible causes, and to help the technicians narrow down the cause, it is recommended to track the time, temperature...
