Carlos was there exactly on time. Did an inspection of the vehicle and described what he was doing every step. Carlos is very friendly and knowledgeable. He went through troubleshooting steps and found the problem right away. He explained everything to me clearly and answered any question that I had. Problem was fixed at a fair price, maybe even less than a repair shop.I will definitely use this service again and I highly recommend Carlos. Very good experience.

Today was my 2nd time to have Carlos out to work on my Acura (previously diagnosed). He not only has a conservative approach but also educates. We have older cats (3) so I'll be scheduling again as money becomes available. Thanks again Carlos.

First time using this service, and Keith was great! Friendly, professional, timely and got the job done fast. I had originally scheduled to have all of my brake pads and rotors replaced - he pointed out that my 2 front rotors actually didn't need to be replaced, so he saved me some money too. This guy knows his stuff, he'll give it to you straight, no BS and none of that pressure for a bunch of extra expensive stuff that's typical of a lot of car repair shops & dealerships.

Andrew showed up promptly and was professional throughout the service. I very much appreciated that he talked me out of a service I did not yet need (the dealership had told me I needed it). He performed a brake fluid flush and everything went smoothly. Would definitely use his services again.

Toby came to perform a pre-purchase car inspection. We made him go to the top floor of a car parking lot to inspect the car. Let me tell you, it was confusing for me to get there (it was my first time there), and it was confusing for him too (I felt bad!!). Despite of this, Toby made it there and on time. Toby was very polite and professional. His service was excellent. I left him to do his job while I went back to work (and so did the previous owner). He called the previous owner, handed him the keys, and left his report online. Toby mentioned the report could show up within 15 mins to 24 hrs. The previous owner texted me once he got the keys back. By the time I get his text message, I check the website, his report shows up online (literally minutes!!). We also chatted over the phone. Decent guy. I would definitely recommend Toby's service to anyone buying a pre-owned car, and yourmechanic.com for such an easy process. Good job guys!

Answers to common Acura questions

Actuator not opening trunk
Answered by Mia
Since the trunk lid solenoid is working, it sounds like the latch or actuator needs to be replaced. There are also two ways to open the trunk if the key fob or dash button don't work. Pull the "T" shaped...
Seat heater not working.
Answered by Evan
Having an inoperative heated seat is not out of the ordinary. Most times the heater grid in the seat goes bad. Generally this happens over time just due to the fact that getting in and out of the seat flexes...
Car overheats after replacing radiator
Answered by Rocco
While there could be a few different causes that could lead to a vehicle overheating after a repair, it sounds like your Acura TL may have had an issue where air was left in the cooling system after the radiator...
AC is not blowing cold air

Hi. Generally, a silvery look to the oil indicates metal particles in the oil system. If this occurred when the oil compressor failed and the system was not thoroughly flushed, then the metal particles can wear the pistons and walls...
