Q: Water pump/thermostat

asked by on April 07, 2017

Isn't it best to change the thermostat too when changing out the water pump? Since they're right next to each other? And when should I change mine, I've been researching and from all the sources I've looked up, they say water pump usually fails around 100k miles..

My car has 84500 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
