Q: How long does it take to replace the compressor bracket
My bracket broke the one that sits on top of the ac compressor how longs does the repair take
My car has 145000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
Once the compressor is removed from the bracket, then there is only a couple of bolts that hold the bracket to the engine block. Make sure the compressor rear bracket is tightened or the new bracket will break. The bracket should be able to be changed in less than a couple hours.
