Q: Traction control system

Was driving and I felt a strong tug and stabiltrack and tcs message popped up and said service but was still driving to work. Got out 2 hours later I came back started it sounded normal but when I hit the highway I got a message saying engine power reduced with both signs still on

My car has 114000 miles.
