Q: Should I change dirty burnt looking tranny fluid while on 2 week waiting list to get my clutch replaced?
I just found out I need the clutch on my truck replaced. I had taken it to the dealership and they are charging way too much. It will be about two weeks till I can get into the shop where I want it done. The dealership said my transmission fluid looked really bad, almost like it was burnt. Should I go get that changed out asap? Or do they do that when they change the clutch?
