Just ignore the phone call requests. So let's get started and try to figure out what is going on for you. Can you tell me when the alarm is going off, which lights are flashing? 1. Parking Lights? or 2. Head Lights?

You can try having someone tap the starter with a hammer while you hold the key in the crank position. That works 50% of the time. But once you start it. It may get stuck again of course

The labor is the problem

I am not a fan of aftermarket electrical parts. Most of the time they do not work. But if you were to get it from the dealer, then a starter would be around 190. It's around 1 hour to 2 hours labor.

Could it possibly be the wires to the starter? The connection?

If it was wiring, the starter would not click

Single click is a sign of a bad starter. Rapid clicking is a bad battery

You can manually jump it in the car. If it does the same thing then you need a starter

There is a way you can manually jump the starter. You unplug the trigger and verify it is getting it's consistent power. Then you put the starter button to the trigger and the other lead to the battery
