I just had my radiator replaced with a brand new one and I drove 5 mins to store and it wouldn't start up..he told me the crankshaft was bad so i bought one and told me he replaced it so when I went to pick it up, I noticed when it started it was louder than usual but figured that was due to it being so cold. I drove ten minutes and when I came from grocery store, it wouldn't start up so I had to leave it there and I've been calling mechanic and he's not answering...it's making the same sound it did when he told me the crankshaft was bad..I had no prior problems at all with it starting..it was only leaking from radiator and I use to have to pour fluid often that's why I just had it changed. He didn't disconnect the battery terminal as I was watching most of the time while he was replacing the radiator but I was at work and he told me he changed the shaft. I've been calling him, won't answer so I'll have to take a cab to work and children to school as he won't answer to come check it

I think that there may be some misunderstanding about exactly what was done. Replacing a crankshaft would be a major operation that would cost thousands of dollars. So I think there might have been something else going on. I certainly can’t tell you what it is from this desk, but I can suggest you contact YourMechanic to have a technician come out to your home and check out your Nissan Then maybe we can get to the bottom of this.
