I have noticed over the past week that my front passenger wheel has a squealing noise coming from it every so often. It usually occurs if in colder weather or during rain. It has yet to make the noise in warm, clear weather. The noise seems road speed dependent as well, it only seems to occur between 10 and 35 MPH. Hitting the brakes makes the noise stop after a few seconds, and accelerating also seems to make the noise unnoticeable. I would describe the noise as a squealing caused by rotating a metal rod in a rubber seal that fits too tight (not saying this is it, just describing the noise). There are some days where I never hear the noise, but it seems that I hear the noise on most days at least once. What could this problem be? I alread removed the brake caliper and cleaned/regreased all contact surfaces, as well as checked for abnormal pad wear and it was none of these issues.
