Q: Traction control

asked by on September 06, 2017

My issue is that my car check engine light and trac off light came on at the exact same time while I was driving in very hot temperatures. This happened as soon and I turned off my air conditioner. I've had the issue before, when I got my car repaired after an accident. Turns out my oxygen sensor was just loose, so my question is; could I possibly be having the same problem?

My car has 74000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The P-0746 OBD-II trouble code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0746-obd-ii-trouble-code-pressure-control-solenoid-performance-or-stuck-off-by-valerie-johnston) is one of the more confusing and hard to diagnose codes.
