Q: Passenger door won't open

asked by on

The passenger door is jammed, and it won't open. I already purchased a door actuator.

Hello. It is possible that the door actuator is stuck in the lock position, causing the passenger door to jam. It is also possible that there is a problem with the door latch; if the latch won’t release when the door is opened, the door will jam, or not open. This jammed door should be diagnosed and repaired by a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic.
