Q: i accelerated loud pop and D doesn't move the car.
I was at a complete stop at a stop sign in my 2009 Chevy Impala. when it was my turn to proceed i slowly applied the gas and a loud pop happened seconds later. I rolled through the intersection and tried to move out of the way i slowly applied the gas again but it just revs. when i got it home i messed with the gears and found out that D and 3rd do not work but 1st, 2nd and R do work. what can it be?
